GoldHog.com (Online Seller) (Mystery Cons)

Update: GoldHog no longer sells its Mystery Cons. Now they sell RawPaydirt, you can read the review HERE

Well it is time for another review. Took me a few days but managed to get another one done. The Pay Dirt is starting to stack up again, think I have 12 bags ready for panning just no time. So will try to get at least one done this weekend and maybe even two if kids sleep a lot, lol.

The Review:

The first thing I have to say about these Mystery Cons is WOW are they hard to pan. All the gold was super fine and none of the black sands are magnetized. It took me three days to pan out this 2lb bag of pay dirt. The bag weighed in at almost 3lbs but it includes a lot of large crystals and rocks so once you pull those you have about 2lbs of super fine dirt, black sands and flour gold. As a whole, I was super pleased with this bag of pay dirt but damn it made me work for it. In fact, the pic of the gold weight is wrong. Pic shows 1.13 grams, but I decided to go through the black sands one last time (5th time) and cleaned up the pic gold, ended up with 1.15 grams but forgot to take a pic.

Overall I was extremely pleased with this bag and will definitely buy more, but might wait until I have my rebuilt miller table ready. Will use it to break it in.

The GoldHog Mystery ended with a 9.8 out of 10 Score! This stuff was amazing, the ROI was beyond belief and it was super challenging. This paydirt was definitely everything it was stated to be and more. The only thing I found wrong with it was I didn't have more of it. Well that and the coffee bag, but man a 9.8!

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!

  1. Man I wish I could get a bag like that from gold hogg every bag I get has had .2-.5 grams wich I’m still very happy with I love docs cons they are always fun have some nice minerals and are truly unsalted and I searched

    • Yea I love pure unsalted bags as long as you know its form a good area or claim not someones back yard. As to the content yea I was very surprised and happy since most people I know get around the .5 range as well, but man did I have to work for it.

  2. GoldHog.com (Online Seller) (Mystery Cons) This was disappointing, classified and ran twice. Total gold 0.12 gram. No where near from what I’ve read and price for 0.12 gram $35 (price + shipping).

Sadly that is the gamble you take with unsearched, no guarantee pay dirt. I have heard mixed reviews on it, where panners either hate it or love it. I loved it but I found a lot of gold. I plan on buying another bag soon to average out my other review. Hope you have better luck on your next purchase. GoldHog is a great seller, but even the video ays it is a gamblers bag.

  3. I am trying to order a 2lb bag how do I do this

  4. I have other people that need 2lb bags too, they want to pan with me dereck, issac, Lydia, Brandon, brian,

    • They no longer sell this paydirt. They have switched it to rawpaydirt.com now and you can read the review I did on it HERE

      • If you’re looking for good paydirt and consistent paydirt I would suggest LynchMining.com or Jimbosgold.com I have reviews for both up as well so check them out.

  5. I never received my paydirt I ordered.
