KlondikeKlinkers.com (4oz Sample Bag)

I had hoped to have a more productive month this month but my health decided otherwise. So after spending 2 weeks in and out of doctors offices I finally got some free time to pan out some gold from my stockpile. I even managed to pan 2 bags so another review will be coming later today.

Also, by the end of today all reviews will be officially updated to my new 10 point grading scale. The bad news is I am not happy with it so soon I am going to revamp it again. While I love the new system I think I need to change some of the criteria I currently use. I really want it to be more about the paydirt so might combine some criteria and add some new ones. Just have to figure it all out. Anyways, that is for another month.

Well on to the review and remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel HERE so as to not miss any of my reviews.

The Review:

I found KlondikeKlinkers a few months ago and have been dying to review them. I thought the back story and limerick were funny and witty so figured might as well buy some.

Besides the leprachaun theme I found the choices for paydirt different from the usual fare which was very intriguing. Most sellers sell paydirt in the 8oz and up sizes. Plus the small bags most sellers sell carry very little gold. KlondikeKlinkers has some tiny bags, as low as 2oz. He also has a 8oz bag with 2.25 to 3.25 grams of gold in it. The 4oz bag is supposed to contain from .3 to .5 grams of gold.

I was really curious how much fun it would be to pan out a 4 oz bag compared to an 8oz bag which is usually the lowest most sellers sell. While I had fun panning this paydirt and I really liked the varying sizes of gold which made it so much fun to pan. In the end after finishing it all up, I was really left wanting of more. I think the real problem was the dirt itself. The gold was great but about 1/2 of the paydirt was over 20 mesh and when you have such a small amount of paydirt you really want it to be smaller dirt to make it last. My 4oz bag even weighed out at 6oz so I probably would have been more disappointed if it didn't have those extra 2 oz.

Since this paydirt had very little fine paydirt it was pretty easy and fast to pan which contributed to wanting more. It also had very little black sands, so again wasn't very challenging. The one positive thing about the small amount of paydirt was that even though it was very dusty, it didn't cloud up my water since not much paydirt.

KlondikeKlinkers 4oz paydirt ended with a score of 8.9 out of 10. The amount of gold that I found was obviously on the very high side for this bag so it ended with a great ROI. The only reason this paydirt didn't score even higher was it is way too small an amount for the types and classifications of paydirt.  All in all though a great small cheap bag of paydirt that I would definitely buy again.

***Disclaimer***

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
