Ugh….. It seems the hosting company I use has been under a DDOS attack so the my blog has had lots of issues being live. It has also prevented me from logging in to upload pics and write this review. So I won’t waste a lot of time on this section in case it goes down again.
Well on to the review and remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel HERE so as to not miss any of my reviews.
GoldRushPaydirt has a great name for google searches which is exactly how I found it. However don’t let the name fool you they are not linked or related to the hit tv show. Also I didn’t find this bag near as entertaining as the show.
Now if you read/watched my last post (HERE) you will see I had a lot of drama with my first bag of goldrushpaydirt, but due to how it was purchased I couldn’t review it. This bag however I know for a fact came from the seller, which isn’t a good thing. In fact, because of what I found in this bag it has convinced me the last bag I didn’t review might not have been tampered with. In fact I am pretty sure it wasn’t but since I purchased it from a 3rd party I will leave that review as a non review.
After my last non review I was really excited to find out the truth about not only the last bag but what this bag woudl hold. I even tempered my disappointment in how this bag was only 13.4oz instead of the 16oz it was supposed to be. The owner had offered to replace the bag at his cost which kept the hope for this bag alive. My joy ended as soon as I opened the bag and realized I got more that I purchased.
You see I emailed the seller twice and both times got pretty much the same reply, that this paydirt was from Vermont , screened down to a 1/4″ for easy panning with no gold added. Yet when I opened my bag (light bag) and dumped out the contents I saw a ton of material I knew was over a 1/4″. After classification it all down about 1/2 of all the material was over 1/4″. Now normally I might overlook this but on a -$20 bag of paydirt with no gold added, one would assume your not going to find any gold over 1/4″. So now my 13oz bag became a 6oz bag and the disappointment continued.
When I looked through the material it was identical to the last bag I didn’t review except for the classification sizes. It was full of organic material, clay, and hard packed dirt. Making me again think the last bag was un-tampered with. What made it worse was this paydirt was the exact opposite of easy to pan paydirt. In fast I had to go back and check my emails to verify the seller said it was easy panning. So now I had a short bag, over-sized material, and not easy to pan. Sadly though it continues and not in a good way.
After panning everything out I found the exact same amount of gold as I did in the last bag, ZERO, nothing, nada, zilch. Not even one speck of gold was in this or the other bag so they were both a bust. This bag I can at least confirm was from the seller so two bags, no gold, just lots and lots of disappointment.
GoldRushPaydirt’s 1lb bag ended with a score of 3.6 out of 10. With a short bag, oversized material, slow customer service and no gold this bag of dirt it had no chance at a decent score. The only winning part was it was shipped fast and free, but that is it.

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
