Pay Dirt Gold 1lb Bag Paydirt Review

The Review of Pay Dirt Gold 1lb Bag Paydirt:

Would this bag be a great bag or a bust? That is what I asked myself right before I started panning out the bag of paydirt from PayDirtGold.com. This isn’t something I normally ask myself but Pay Dirt Gold has a really bad reputation of being a gimmick to make money off a popular TV series. It is the same question I asked myself when I panned out the 2lb bag. That one was a “Great” bag and made me wonder if maybe the bad rap was unwarranted. Well only one way to find out.

The first thing I noticed is this bag is light, not by much but once you remove all the fluff, extra bag, vial etc, it weighs less than the advertised pound. This really is a pet peeve of mine that a seller can’t even deliver on the promised weight. Once i got over the missing paydirt I classified everything down and went to panning.

Surprise! I found a picker in the +10 material, maybe yet again I would have a great bag from Pay Dirt Gold! It wasn’t a nugget and it really didn’t weigh that much but hey I really didn’t expect to find any gold in the +10 material. Well off to a great start I would say!

Then I got to the rest of the material and it just didn’t pan out (no pun intended). I did find  little gold and I do mean a little but nothing to write about. (hmmm). In the end I found very little gold even for a $20 bag of paydirt.

I am torn about this seller. This is the reviews I have read, low weights, low ROIs and bad customer service. Yet my first review was so polar opposite. I was so disappointed in this bag I had planned on skipping the 1/2lb bag I have but maybe I need a 3rd review to break the tie.

Again as with my last difficult bag of paydirt this stuff had very little material in the +30 classification. It did have gold in the +30 material though. Not much, I recovered 3 small flakes in the -20/+30 classification. Plus found a few -30 specks that obviously piggy backed on in the dust.

PayDirtGold.com 1lb  Paydirt ended with a score of 5.6 out of 10. There really was no saving this bag form a low score. Even starting with a nice picker wasn’t enough. Low weight, bad bag and horrible ROI!

***Disclaimer***

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
